G-Town and China Brawl

I'm waiting for someone in the American Media with the balls to call out the Chinese team for the classless idiots that they are. I understand you play to win; but during a goodwill tour I fail to find the justification in the entire team running on to the court like a bunch a ****ing lunatics kicking and punching the first American they can get their hands on.

A Chinese Sports Analyst actually had the balls to suggest the fight stemmed from frustration due to a series of bad calls against The Chinese Team. I don't know if he mentioned The Chinese Team shot 42 more free throws than GT.

I think our next Goodwill team should include Ron Artest, Kwame Brown, Kenyon Martin, Bill Laimbeer and Kermit Washington.

What's worse? Being tied to a Chinese team at basketball or getting your *** kicked by them physically?

Definitely a bit of culture shock. Whenever there is a fight in the NBA or college, it's usually 2 or 3 guys fighting and everybody else trying to play peacemaker. I'm sure the GT squad didn't expect the entire Chinese bench (including some non player personnel apparently) to come busting out like the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad.

That's the same dynamics that a street fight would go down over there. Over here, if you're not with a group of friends or something and you get into a fight, you'll probably just get a bunch of people ignoring you or pulling out their cameras or something; see all the people that take beatings on subway systems in America on Youtube for example. In China? You'll get curbed stopped by 15 complete strangers banding together if you touch one of them where there is a lot of people around.

I was shocked most of all by how scared these Georgetown kids looked.

I bet they were freaked out because they were in China. Who knows if the crowd will come down and start thrashing them too, I would be freaked out.
They wouldn't be half so scared if they were in the states because they have backup in the stands.
