Portland Trail Blazers (12-8) vs Utah Jazz (11-7) I’m trying to be patient about our team, and I believe the maxim of Epictetus may be helpful for you to be so.

Portland is enjoying a well going season so far. Now they are 12-8 and playing better and more consistently than Utah. They will be well rested against us this Monday as they’ve played their last game on Friday to have an empty weekend then. They killed the Suns with a margin of 38 pts by the way. The Jazz on the other hand also will have some resting time after Kings game but we’re not convinced yet about whether it’s good for them or not.

So, both team are almost injury free and will be fresh on the game day. It’ll certainly be a hard game to win but I say let the Blazers have a nice Utah trip... At the deep canyons of the Utah State!

For Utah Jazz, there is no major injury but some ankle problems of Big Al who most likely won’t miss the game.

The “Did you know?” fact: The first official basketball game ended, well, 1-0. Yes, they say it’s true. When my ex-coach told about this very first official game, I thought that he was just kidding me. But apparently it’s true, this game was played in a YMCA gymnasium on January 20, 1892 with nine players. Lol , at least we’re better than those guys.

Great thread MK11. Love the Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep canyon there. Blazers have a vet team that plays well together. The Jazz haven't played very well the last 3 game. This well be a very hard game for the Jazz to win.
