Hello. I'm a brand-spanking new Jazz fan from Atlanta. My cousin was just drafted by the Jazz on Thursday, so I've decided to jump on the bandwagon too. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do for your team. Also, I can offer you my insight on Marvin Williams if you want, being that he was just traded to your team. Anyway, I look forward to conversing with you guys.

Yes, welcome. And don't let some of the rude guys get to you. I genuinely believe most on this board are pretty decent people. I think we're all hoping Murphy makes the team. Jazz can certainly use the outside shooting.

Tell him he's coming to the team with the most passionate fans in the league. And fortunately for him, I think the current players seem to be a great bunch of guys. BY all reports, it was a pretty good atmosphere this past season. If you two are close, make sure to post some of what he shares with you in terms of his experience at summer league, training camp, etc.

Welcome to the boards, I think most of us on the board we're petty stoked we were able to get your cousin so late in the draft, he seems like another sleeper that can make some real noise. As far as watching the games this year, the team is really fun to watch and yes, really die-hard fans. As Deron Williams said, we're "viscous mormons."
 
Welcome antmillennium! Hopefully your cousin has a long and prosperous career in the NBA and with the Jazz.
