Anyone listen to the lock podcast this week where he went in great detail on Haywards work
ethic this summer starting at 7am daily with the Jazz trainers...

The podcast was 100% glowing review on Haywards work ethic and commitment.

The only line I found strange and it was mentioned matter of fact and not discussed

and I am paraphrasing "and it got tough because Hayward is not the most coachable athlete"

that surprised me.....

All I can say is that if you had scoured the entire universe for a place to dissect the meaning of a couple of words with a potentially negative tinge in a purportedly glowing review, and you had delivered those words with minimal context and only as a paraphrase (both of which you did), I do no think you could have found a group of people more capable of turning them into a **** storm than those on this site. Congratulations!

I can think of half a dozen posters who are going to start foaming at the mouth when they see your words.

If anyone has listened to Locke's previous commentary (I haven't listened to this one being referenced) on Hayward and his workouts specifically his off season ones, Locke has mentioned that Hayward has his routine/workout regiment and can become "prickly" if things interrupt or try to change it, so I think that may be in part of the context of that but again I haven't listened to this yet.

HAYWARD TAKING LEAGUE OF LEGENDS BREAKS DURING PRACTICE!!!!! LOCKER ROOM CANCER!!!! I even heard him scream to his teammates... "DON'T TOUCH THE HAIR"

This makes sense. A lot. Locke should have clarified because taken out of context it sounds bad.....

If his yearly rising stats are not a sure sign of his dedication both to the game and his team, I don't know what is.

I don't see why the fact that Hayward is clearly a hard worker would mean that he is necessarily coachable. One thing doesn't necessarily have anything to do with another. Hayward, for instance, may have a great work ethic but be stubborn and unwilling to take orders/advice. He would, thus, be "not the most coachable" player despite being a really hard-working one.

I listened to the podcast and stubbornness is what seemed like Locke was implying.

I swear there is an entire thread about how you weren't going to listen to Locke anymore...
