Why bother posting here when you will probably be banned for being a troll soon?

If we don't have a dream, what do we have?

If it happens we will just start the superstar 2012 draft thread early and follow their college games. They would likely keep the same seeding, with a redrawing for the lottery (top 3) of course. We would get 11 and 12, which is about equal to 4 and 5 this year talent wise.

The economy sucks, people are losing houses, people are losing jobs. Soldiers are still being sent half a world away to fight for who knows what and too many are coming home messed up and some don't come home at all. And as two wars seemingly are coming to an end the president started us into another one without bothering to ask congress.

Meanwhile the TSA is groping kids and grandmas and everyone in between. The US is 63 Trillion in debt, food prices are rising rapidly, gas prices are killing me, the mid west is under water, the south has been blown away, teh southwest is burning up and there is still oil polluting the Gulf. Trace radiation from japan has been found on the west coast, and people have forgotten that Australlia was washed away a few months ago.

Locally, my kids school just ranked in teh bottom 10% of the state, there was another gang incedent last week, and I can't afford to move. Two of my good friends were told by thier wives that it was over, and my boss reminds me about once a week that if I can't keep up with everything there are 200 people dying to have my job...

I don't drink, and I don't do drugs, but maybe I would be happier if I did. The Jazz are one thing I can hope for and talking endlessly about the jazz is a great diversion from all the things I can't control.

With a very young team the lockout affects the Jazz the least. Though I still hate the fact that it might happen, though again if the owners win (which I hope they do) it may be good for small market teams like the Jazz.

We better pray that the new CBA helps small market teams or we don't have a chance. I think this will definitely be small market vs. large market teams. I think they will make it more difficult for players to move and I think they will want a hard cap. If 22 of the teams are (allegedly) losing money, this could be a long lock-out.
