International League Pass

Searched this phrase and others, and didn't see anything within the last year. Please forgive if this is 'old hat':

Thinking on buying/renewing my watch.nba league pass... instead of buying a US based one.
Was living in Germany and for €109 I could get a team pass... without blackouts.
I didn't watch the games live, except for once or twice... but I remember they had live streams and no blackouts... and of course, the recorded sessions.
Won't be cheaper... since I'll be spending $50+ per year on VPN server... but no blackouts and my son (still in Germany) being able to continue to watch the games... makes this a likely option.

For those of you using International league pass, can you confirm that there are no blackouts. Also, does the full package allow you to choose home announcers for away games? I had that the first year when I had a full/monthly pass. (The color is better w/ Harpring/Booner... and almost makes up for the stupid stuff coming out of Boller mouth...) But I should just continue to listen to the away announcers... more educational.

And, any experience from the forum of US members opting for watch.nba vs US based league pass? Things to know or watch out for?

Thanks in advance.

i've had international league pass for 2 years, no blackouts, no problems. Well worth the $$ The default is home announcers, but you can pay an extra price to upgrade to being able to choose home or away feed, which i haven't bothered with. I like to hear the home announcers perspective. Although there are some really dreadful ones like Boston

Thanks much for your input. Sorry, haven't been back online forever, but now with games starting, need to get the Pass.

Here's some interesting info:
US $199
EU €219 ($246)
CAN CAD$150 ($114)
AUS AUD$330 ($253)
Turkey TL390 ($130)
Hong Kong HK$1700 ($219)
UK £190 ($246)
Mexico MXN2500 ($129)

How in the hell did Canada pull that one off? If you're just doing for costs and have a VPN, check out Canada... as long as you're not wanting to watch the Raptors, it should help you with blackouts.
I'm planning on paying the extra for a pass from Germany, so my son can watch while he's there and I can watch here without blackouts... but at that price in CAD$, might just make him us the VPN too...

Also, looking for the One Team option... they have it in the US now for $119... but it's not showing up in any of the International Watch.Nba pages... so hope it comes up soon... or maybe another reason to go Canadian... eh?

I got the team pass last year from hong kong I think, good value. Probably not gonna do it this year cos I don't have the money, and illegal streams are pretty legit. But I will definitely miss having a good option for watching on my phone.

Checked HK and CAN was clearly better... though I don't know why.
BTW, illegal streams legit? quality - maybe, otherwise an oxymoron

lol, yea sorry, quality I meant. Definitely not as good as league pass in my experience, but certainly watchable.
