Is DL doing favors for Baylor?

Neither is "questionable". LMAO. Two guys attended the same school a million years apart! A conspiracy? Obviously!

His son is playing for the team right now. If there were an ethic review, it would be highlighted for further review to ensure there is not a conflict of interest.

If O'Neale ends up being a solid player, I'll gladly eat crow.

I'm not saying it's a conspiracy. There is a chance he is doing favors for the team because he's an alumni and his son is on the team. There is also a chance that he's just more familiar with guys from the program so there's some sort of bias. Or maybe its just a coincidence.

It really doesn't provide much if anything to a program to sign a guy that's been out of school for awhile. I mean it's really a huge stretch to try to infer some kind of malfeasance in this instance. O'Neale was signed because he's a knockdown three point shooter (44% his last year at Baylor) and we desperately needed an additional floor spacer as insurance. And Udoh's just a beast as a rim protector and decent on the other end as well.

Definitely. Silver needs to enact a rule change prohibiting teams from having more than 1 player from the same college. And he should go further: no more than 1 from any country outside the U.S. DL was definitely favoring France last season.

This is just stupid. Scouts and GM's often find prospects when they are looking at other players. Lindsey first took note of Mitchell, I believe, when his son played against him in a tournament. He likely saw O'Neale when he was watching Baylor play and saw he had an NBA talent: 3PT shooting so he's taking a chance. I believe KOC "found" Jeremy Evans when he was scouting someone else.

Better also make it illegal to take advice from former players. I think DL did Gonzaga a favor by drafting Williams-Goss on the recommendation from Stockton, a Zag alumnus.

If he signs Isaiah Austin, then maybe you have a case. But last season you might argue that he was doing Butler favors.

I think the Jazz are also in cahoots with the Louisville program as well. They drafted Darrell Griffith in 1981 and now Donovan Mitchell in 2017...something fishy is going on here.

I will say that I don't think Royce O'Neale is signed by the Jazz if he never attended Baylor (assuming that's the only thing different).

Maybe it makes Baylor players more likely to sign with Utah silly OP.....

Stop. Please. Just stop.
