It Gets Better at Brigham Young University

This video should be seen by everyone. I applaud the courage these students had to speak up.

I'm guessing the video is about gays attending BYU. I had this friend who was kicked out of BYU because her Mormon girlfriend felt guilty and reported her to the honor code office. She used to grow mushrooms in her closet, and we'd get high and go on walks. Fun times.

Good for them.

BTW, that first guy talking had possibly the oddest-looking nose I've ever seen. It's tilted upwards to a ridiculous degree. I just couldn't stop staring at his nostrils.

I noticed the same thing and I wasn't going to say anything but now that you mention it ya... I've never seen nostrils like that.

I honestly thought this was sarcastic at first, "It Gets Better at Brigham Young University"......
I also think they used the wrong spokesperson. The nose is very distracting, I wasn't even sure about what he was saying, but i understood the overall message. Good for them.

How did these people get into BYU? They had to lie to get pass their Bishop. I think they are brave people but it must be miserable way to live considering the LDS Church stance on gays.

It is sad that they believe all the crap about gays that they have heard from their parents and church leaders.

Lie about what? Bishops ask your sexual orientation in order to recommend you? Ummm no. That is nowhere in the list of questions Bishops ask students, current or prospective.

I don't know. When I met with the bishop to get my endorsement (you need to do it even if you're not LDS), he said I was "tall dark and handsome". I've always assumed it was a proposition. :P

While we are on the subject, doesn't that Asian Chick have the head of someone who is obese but a thin body?

Eh... I can sort of see what you're talking about, but I don't think so. She does look interesting though. Too bad I don't think she actually says her name... I'd like to know what flavor of asian she is exactly, and a name might have helped with that.

I'm confused, how can one be a Mormon and gay at the same time? Mormon's believe in the Bible, the Bible seems to be very clear on where it stands in regards to gay relationships. I don't understand....

Even I haven't even seen any eyes like that. The video was full of distracting characters. I really really really really hate to judge looks, but one can only imagine the reason why these people are gay. I don't have a problem with gay people, but did they give up on finding someone straight or something?

As long as they aren't having sexual relations they aren't doing anything that would keep them from gaining their ecclesiastical endorsement.

I watched this video this morning. I have to say, I feel bad for those students and I'm glad that more and more people are educated.

I really wished the world we lived in was less ignorant and more tolerant.
