It's criminal that Evans does not play

Hello all, I've been a Jazz fan for 20 years. I've been wanting to make this point but it makes me sad to even think about it, so that's why I havent yet but it's a crime, a shame, a catastrophe that jeremy evans does not play. He doesn't even get 10 mins a game, when he should be getting 20-25. I'm not writing this tonight because he's playing against the pistons right now, this has always been on my mind, since he was rookie we all knew he was special. the man can jump like a grasshopper, nice shot, he makes good decisions, and he hustles like crazy. what the hell is corbin's problem? please explain fellow jazz fanz. thanks and Go Jazz.

Welcome to The Fault Palace.

I think everyone wants to see Evans get more minutes. There are only so many...

Normally this guy needs to play 15-20 minutes a night regularly, but the truth is that even Kanter (maybe our best BIG) is playing something like that, when all players are healthy. I would not trade Marvin Williams, too.(resigning) this guy is like diamond, if he´s used right.

Was that a 20' shot earlier tonight? Daymn. And, good help defense.

I'm pretty shocked we couldn't make the right deal for Millsap and Al.... especially when I see (an expiring) Calderon play better PG than anything I've seen out of our squad.

Am I the only one who thinks Jeremy Evans might not be able to compete in the NBA? I hope I'm wrong, but when I've seen him play (which I haven't watched many games this year) he gets pushed around on defense like he doesn't exist (or like he weighs 50 lbs than the guys he guards.)

It looks like he's developed a jump shot, which is great. But can he dribble? Drive? Pass? I haven't seen him do any of these things.

Totally agree. We do have a log jam though. But that is exactly why a trade should have been made. Its really a blunder by the front office.

I seen it. I agree too. I don't know what the hell they are doing either

There's a reason that the jazz signed him without him even taking an offer sheet from another team. He has a few things that he does well but his limitations are just as severe. Conditional player at best, and good team locker room guy. 10th man on the bench injury reserve. And Karl is a crazy freak. An immensely talented hall of fame crazy freak.

I disagree. Given solid minutes, I think that Jeremy Evans could turn into quite the player, actually. Beings that there is no real way that we are going to re-sign Paul Millsap AND Al Jefferson, it might just be a blessing in disguise. This would mean more minutes for the human pogo stick. If we re-sign Paul but not Al (most likely), we then start Paul at PF and Derrick Favors at C, which would mean that Jeremy and Enes come off the bench as the reserve PF and C positions. If we re-sign Al but not Paul (less likely), we then go with the rotation that we did today (Starters: PF: Favors and C: Jefferson; Reserves: PF: Evans and C: Kanter).
