7 weeks from today (monday oct 3rd) is the first pre-season game! (against the trailblazers)

Lame thread. But bored. So there.

In between now and then, we'll have a couple more weeks of our Jazzfanz playoffs for current NBA players. Then hopefully some P3/training/workout news.
 
And the regular season is less than 10 weeks away. I can't wait. Offseason blows.
 
Hot damn, and I had NFL preseason start. I have sports until mid June. ;)
 
aren't we also going to do another JFC draft competition? One for current jazz players only? I've already tossed my hat in for that one.

At least we have the Olympics this year. Creates a nice bridge between the most boring time of the off-season and Football.

Not even joking I had a hard time figuring out what you were saying here. I thought you were saying something about how quiet it was on the board, with a metaphor aboit crickets. Have fun watching Crocket though. I'm sure it's great of you're into it. Maybe even better than baseball.

dude try to catch a game of 20/20 cricket, it's a short form of the game that only goes for about 3 hours, highly entertaining Makes baseball look dull

West Indies and India playing a few 20/20 games in florida soon. A rare sign of expansion.

Australia/Sri Lanka right now though, great stuff.
 
Media Day should be Monday September 26th if previous patterns hold. So that's just under 6 weeks from now. Or to look at it another way...it's next month. But still not quite close enough.
 
I was just checking out P3's site. Man how they've grown. I remember checking it out years ago, when our guys first started going, and they had a resume with maybe 10-12 NBA clients on it, almost all of them from the Jazz. Now they have 102 NBA clients.

Anywho, I'm not sure if they went last summer. Probably. But Lyles, Withey, Neto, Exum, Favors, Hayward, Burks, and Gobert are all on there.

Wait, the short form of cricket lasts three hours? What the hell do you guys do all day? Sit around and drink fosters and compare knife sizes?
