It's the end of the season, and right now there are 6 games being played. ...You couldn't convince me that any of them are worth watching.

The NBA wins, eh?

I've heard many of you complain about baseball, but no other professional sport plays such a high percentage of meaningless games. They've got to do something about tanking. It's nothing short of a huge problem.

Here's a short and mostly worthless link with JVG talking about tanking. Financial incentives? Really? More of those?

I agree that if tanking is good for teams in the NBA in any way then the NBA has a serious problem that desperately needs to be fixed. Maybe this season is a little bit of an anomaly, but it seems like there are as many teams tanking as really trying to compete. That's a broken league!

I think a couple of reasonable measures would be:

a. Once the league finally gets around to a more comprehensive revenue sharing system, they could build that system so that it gives more money to winning, light-spending teams. As a jazz fan, you vote for this outcome 10 out of 10 times.

b. change the odds of the draft lottery.

....the NBA is hardly worth watching on ANY night, not because of tanking but because the product on the floor is pathetic, semi-worthless and counterfeit basketball!
