My main theory is that him playing PG has led to way higher expectations. Once Sexton is traded and Collier is the starter, I think Keyonte will be put in a more natural role, will play better, and the general fan expectations of how he should play will be more inline with who he is.
I think he can become a 20/6 guy who scores and creates on good efficiency down the line and you dont really need to squint to see that.

His defense may hold him back from becoming a valuable starter level player, but if he is able to even marginally improve on that end I think he has a career as a 2nd unit commander / spark plug.

Not shocked the Jazz lost, but a bit shocked it came from Mark Williams scoring that many points against Kessler
Hardy also smartly decreases Kessler's minutes this game.

Crazy statement from Keyonte that Andy Larsen picked up on: him openly saying that this is the first time in his career the coach has asked him to play defense. No wonder it shows...

That's bizarre.

It's not just on the coaches. Keyonte's also saying "I've never wanted to play defense".

He may literally be the worst NBA defender among all rotation players, so I find all this very believable.

Why are you so hell bent on hating the guy that you even misread his quotes this bad?
Seattle jazz fan has actually been one of the posters who defends keyonte usually.
The post in question could be interpreted as "hardy never asked me to play defense last year and hadn't yet this year until last game/recently."

It lacked context and specification for sure.

Quote out of context or not (I didn't hear it), Keyonte is an great for his draft class ISO player on offense who is being asked to play PG even though he doesn't want to pass and isn't confident setting guys up. Keyonte ALSO is a player who consistently shows a lack of effort defending. He said, she said has nothing to do with his lack of defensive effort that is all too clear, all too regularly.
