Scoring and rebounding at elite level was never Kanter's problem. Too bad there is more to basketball than that.

I was going to make a Kanter thread in GS. This guy puts up possibly the best empty stats ever. He is insanely efficient and would probably make the All Star team if he could stay on the court long enough.

Also, New York is pretty damn good with him and Porzingas. It's their backcourt that's the problem.

its absolutely crazy to think that Kanter is one of the most talented offense big-men in the league, but his lack of defense and long range shot makes him a liability to keep on the floor.
He gets like 20mins a game.

Kanter is only about points, rebounds, and political asylum. He doesn't make the teams he's on better.

Remember when Al Jefferson made Kanter his rook? It all kind of makes sense now.

Uhh, Kanter makes teams better. He might not be a starter, or a guy you want playing full starter minutes, but he's great as a 3rd big. He even posted a positive DBPM last year.
