had 47 points Saturday night as his team won without Pierre Jackson. The Stamps point guard had a triple double with 16 rebounds and 15 assists. He's an undrafted guy from Mississippi State named Dee Bost. It seems that the Jazz ought to send Hayward to the DLeague and sign Murph but that would hurt the tank.

Sign Dee Bost, trade for Arnett Moultrie, sign Renardo Sidney and make him live with Karl Malone for 1 year.

MSU INVASION!!!

He could score 100 points, and I still wouldn't care.

We saw how good he was with us. Even in limited minutes he looked like he didn't belong, even against other scrubs. D-League isn't a good representation of nba talent, so who cares.

I agree he looked like @*$% when he was with the Jazz but he did result in Jeff, Beans, Rush and draft picks coming to us. Perhaps the game has slowed down for him and if he can create his own shot great. He's got to be as good or better than Rush or Clark right now.

Didn't he spend alot of the year with the Jazz suffering from a "rash"? I guess he got over that huh.

I'm one of the few who is still interested in Kevin Murphy. I think his off ball play, constant curling is something this team needs (Burke, Burks, and even Hayward as of late have all turned into on ball guards).

But, I think the Jazz have to wait a year to try him out again since we traded him away.

It was like a couple of weeks.

He just didn't play because he was a second round young guy on Corbin's team when Jazz were in an epic push for the 8th seed.

Does he play defense? That's the question.

Not great, but better than he did.

But since we are averaging only 94.8 ppg, while our oppenents average 100.7, I think we need help on both sides of the ball.

Good offense can inspire and motivate others to get involved defensively.

In the D realm, Murph is adding 6 Reb, 1 stl, and 2 ast to his 25.6 ppg on 50%fg and 40% 3pt fg.

He also has durability apparently. Last two games he's played the full 48. His team won both. He scored 47 and 27 respectively.

Plus his team really needed him in both those games. They played with only 6 players in the game before last and this one went to OT in LA.

I blame Corbin for that more than I blame the players.

agreed. Hayward was great off the ball last season.

I think having Kanter in the starting lineup when Favors comes back would help Gordon play off the ball and get easier looks. Kind of how Al did that for him last year (but obviously less of a black hole).

but w/o favors to hold defense down, everyone is a mess by the time they get into offense.

GSW waived him so he is FA. We can sign him.

I'm watching Murphy play L.A. right now and offensively, he's looking pretty good. He's attacking the rim and runs the floor pretty well on the fast break.

He hasn't taken a lot of jumpers but the ones he's taken have looked good. He's considerably better than everyone else on the floor (Terrance Williams & Shawne Williams are playing pretty well for L.A.)
