KSL - Is Rudy Gobert the NBA's best center?

Gobert is in groundbreaking territory. I read the comments on SB Nation an I cannot believe they are picking Gasoline after Gobert just destroyed him. He is eating up centers an impacting every game.

Deron beat CP3 head to head too before the injuries. Doesn't automatically mean he was the better PG of the two.

Cool article but why the confusing figure? I think it would have been easier to read just doing either all histograms or all trend lines.

Right now? Sure. But it takes a season to be the best. Get back to work.

There was a year or two where Deron was the best PG in the league. Just because his career fell off a cliff, doesn't mean he wasn't legit at his peak.

But you're right, one game doesn't mean squat. However, Rudy has been dominant against all of the best centers in the league, and has been consistently outscoring them head to head, even the guys like Cousins and Gasol, who are supposed to be far superior on that side of the floor. He needs to maintain this level of play for a longer period of time, but right now he is impacting the game every bit as much, if not more than guys like Gasol.

All this "Best Centre in the NBA" **** is definitely putting a target on Rudy's back. Every team in the league is gonna go after him now. Can he hang? I think so.
