well I was hoping to hear back from black posters and was genuinely interested why would they be upset about such non issue.

I think the feeling of white ppl borrowing these hairstyles is the fact that black women go through all KINDS of **** trying to make their hair approach European beauty standards as closely as possible, because their kinky hair is deemed as unsuitable for their work and/or career. So to see non-black people now swoop in and benefit off of these trends, while black people are shamed and profiled when rocking these exact same looks is the root where the feelings of discontentness arise-- to my knowledge.

It hurts for Kylie particularly cuz she never really comes out in support for the black community but a lot of her image is based off of looks that have their roots in the black community
