Lakers should send Kobe to NY to play with Carmelo. Knicks could send Amare's expiring, some picks, and some young players and do what is best for the franchise and for Kobe. Lin, Kobe, and Hill, Nash, and Shaggy P are not a fivesome that will even make the playoffs and Kobe will have another wasted year. Reunite Kobe with Phil in NY and the Lakers should rebuild from basically scratch!

I think the lakers are screwed until Kobe retires. That contract is an lodestone that is drowning them. And unless Kobe asks to be traded they won't trade him. Even if he asks to be traded who wants him at that price? They are just screwed.
