I normally absolutely hate the refs in the NBA but after watching the Clippers/Timberwolf's game then the Heat/Pacers game I have hope. These games the Refs let them play. Yes the refs called fouls but overall they were both very well ref'd games. The flow of the game wasn't disrupted every time down the court. There were multiple flops where the refs just allowed them to keep playing not making the call. Anyways great job refs. :)

Absolutely! It's obvious, even to the most casual basketball fan, that the word from the top is GET THE HEAT IN THE FINALS at all cost! They are protecting Wade, who has demonstrated complete loss of self-control on a number of occasions already this playoffs but they won't suspend him! He already gets the most calls from the ref's even when he's not touched! It's pathetic!
 
The officials in the NBA are still terrible. They are wildly inconsistent. Artest tackles 2 thunder players and no foul is called then they get a run out and the laker is barely touched and it is a foul.

The play where Artest tackles Collison into Harden with no call made is absolutely pathetic. There is no way an official should miss that. Put his arm out and tackled him.

The one with Wade should have been a flagrant with suspension, the bar was set with Blake earlier in the year.

I've not watched very much NBA basketball outside of the Jazz for quite a few years. Now I remember why. The officials are paid to make these games interesting. They are paid to keep stars in the games. They are not paid to make them fair.
