That's a bold prediction, so it makes sense that it would come from World Peace. I will be shocked if the Lakers get to 70 wins. I can see them getting to the mid-60 range, but 70 is a stretch.

I know there's the saying that records are made to be broken, but not all records are equal. I voted no on this one. For a TEAM to do that well, so many things have to go right.

Never is a long time, so I cant say never. I voted yes, sooner or later it will happen.
But it sure as hell wont be the Lakers this year. Artest is such a dumbass.
Even IF everyone they have stays healthy for every game this year, they arent going to win 72 games. I could see 60-65 range. West isnt a pushover, and they will be tested too much.

Can be & will are two different things. LA will rein him in if necessary. If Kobe couldn't be a cancer then Howard won't.

I'm still curious on when Howard will be back from back surgery. First half could look pretty rough in LA.
