I just found out, today, that Russia makes military spy rockets and satellites, and sells'em to us.......

How do we go over that sort of thing to find out if they have embedded some intelligence feedback for themselves????

I would listen to Trump's full speech in Poland yesterday, if you want to see echoes of a dark past...

All our intelligence agencies, and all members, Republican and Democratic, on the Congressional intelligence committees, agree that meddling in the 2016 election was orchestrated by Putin and the Kremlin. Now, the President, on the increasingly authoritarian soil of Poland, has stated he does not trust our intelligence community, and that "nobody knows for sure" who meddled in our election. Imagine you are Putin, you know you orchestrated it, and you see the President will not publically acknowledge you did it, and shows he is more concerned with his personal image then his country's image. You know you are dealing with a weak President.

Trump refused to fully embrace the truth, criticized Obama for not tackling the election meddling, and criticized CNN and NBC and the press in general, in a nation, Poland, where the government is applying clamps on a free press, and as the leader of a nation, the United States, where freedom of the press is part of our Bill of Rights. And in speaking of clash of civilization and speaking of preserving the cultural identity of Western civilization, Trump spoke from a nationalistic ideology predicated on ethnicity that is reminiscent of 20th century descents into rabid nationalistic emotions, and representing a dark element within human nature at the time. No reason to not think it still represents a dark element in human nature. And so the Trump doctrine is rooted in the same irrational nationalistic paranoia of earlier such outbreaks of madness in the history of the modern era.

Trump's Poland speech was the clearest exposition yet, on an international stage, of the ideas of Steve Bannon and Steve Miller. Although so much about Trump changes day to day, as far as when he speaks and tweets, in this instance we have to see this as the clearest indication that the foreign policy will be that of Miller and Bannon, in essence a declaration of war against Islam, and every Islamic nation on Earth. He, and they, have cast it as a clash of civilization. If you are simply a Muslim, when the Jihadists point out that Trump has made this a war against you, how can you not understand that is indeed the case?

And if you are an American, how can this speech be seen as making America great again? A weak, insecure, megalomaniac, thinking only of himself. Afraid to say in public. "Yes the Russians did this, I did benefit, but that doesn't mean that I don't reject this attack on our sovereignty and I will make sure Mr. Putin understands just how seriously I, and the United States, takes this". He's not man enough to say that. Only he matters. And he will shame his nation on an international stage to not seem to make his election seem diminished or deligitimized. Thereby, by his posturing and lying, diminishing his Presidency and making it seem deligitimized.

And btw, babe, I don't need the RT propaganda machine to know the United States has meddled in the politics of other nations. As a citizen of the United States, I'm pretty much concerned with interference in this particular nation. Not much interested in the "what goes around, comes around" argument....

So babe, I recommend you continue to find your support from Russian propaganda machines, and I'll continue to find support in liberal propaganda machines, and, by all means, never the twain shall meet.

You know I think you're more of an alarm to folks who believe humans are entitled to basic human rights than either Trump or Putin, simply because you run with the "liberal" media, the CFR club of elites, with all their very substantial fascist ties to the likes of London bankers, merchants, nobles, and in general all the hangers-on with the UN and the whole range of UN agenda pushes, perhaps in your case with the WWF led in some sense by the Queen-consort Prince Phillip himself.

While we are culturally close to the English as a nation, generally, the very very white "elites" of our world are still the most racist element of world society, and the belief in their better knowledge, culture, and leadership should be a real issue worldwide, and it constitutes the worst of human thinking generally.

The whole militaristic push towards war, either with Russia or Islam, is indeed something we should all oppose. Such a Mid-east theatre operation will decimate the population of muslim nations. I have been aware of influential "Americans" with global maniacal "management" concepts hanging out with our political leadership since the sixties, and I'm no fan.

Putin is a considerable intellect with great political capacities. Nobody should consider him some kind of a ******* running anybody else's errands. One thing I have confirmed is that he is not an ideological communist, nor a simpleton of any kind, and you can be sure he is not "manipulatible" by British or Western intelligence agencies. You should evaluate his actions more in terms of Russian national interests, and consider that he is indeed a sort of nationalist, but too smart for your ignorant generalizations. Before you can speak fairly of him, you would need to study him quite extensively, and I have not done that yet myself.

Meanwhile, I find people like yourself, Red, as deplorable as anyone of any kind of class simply because you are manipulatible, if not a committed ideologue for "the cause" yourself, by interest groups based in the political "left" as it is commonly called. I don't think that class of political interest/change agent operatives are "real Americans" if viewed in terms of commitment to preserving either human rights or the American Constitution.

Your kind of "American" ideals are specifically the sort of ideals I am genuinely most opposed to. Not that a person is not entitled to think, believe or act in favor of their chosen views, but because the underlying principles are so miserably misinformed, and so generally unworthy of respect.

"Our" media players, generally, have done their shtick so poorly that they have awakened the disgust of most Americans. Not that Americans prefer "Nationalism" or "Authoritanianism", or whatever it is you see under the Trump bed in terms of hobgoblins and twits, but because our Left is hardly "American" or even decent human beings. Talk about screws loose or political schemers, they are the ones who just don't take care of the people of any nation or race. I think you are losing it emotionally, and rationally. I think most Americans see their lives being destroyed by the ideological left. And that class of "most Americans" includes genuine muslims coming here for a better life, who are willing to live and let live generally. And the various off-white "races" as well.

I'm not very concerned about losing America by importation of people from other countries because I believe that the ideas of human rights, the reality of equal justice under the law, and economic opportunity will quickly move them from the indoctrinated or ideological ranks of the Left, and even from the Democratic Party, if the Democratic Party continues to froth insanely on ideological extremism.

My interest in the link cited in the OP would be because I see in that "news" the fact that our own media's clamor about meddling is being taken up by the Russians as worthy of their own moves to consolidate some kind of "national" interest play. Surely, if Americans are opposed to talking to the Russians, Russians should be opposed to talking to Americans.

It is lunacy on both sides.....

Lol. babe, I'm just going to refer back to what I suggested to you a few days ago in the other thread. It's only History. Live it. Enjoy it. It seems to me we may very well be living at one of the most pivotal moments in modern American history, if not American history overall. Who could ask for more then that? Now, if I truly had a choice, it would be 1100 AD, and I'd be an Ancestral Puebloan, living somewhere in southern Utah. But, I'll take 2017 United States, and appreciate it all the day long. I have no idea how this history is going to play out. Your opinion is of no consequence to me, and I sincerely hope you can say the same of my opinions. Now, forgive me, but I, and I'm sure most everyone else here, would prefer I go back into my clamshell. So I hope you enjoyed Independence Day, and hope you have a great Summer.

Academia USA/UK is full of ideologically blindered "history" that's as fake as CNN. In general, anyone who claims the mantle of historical determinism is a lost soul, intellectually.

history is what people have made of it, and will be what people make of it.

The great ideals of the American Revolution could be resorted to by people who decide not to just put up with the little ideological minds of so-called "progressives" who vastly over-rate their wisdom and fundamentally denigrate the human rights of others.

Well, that's too bad. I enjoy your commentary.

How will I know when I'm making my point if I have no proper reviewer to represent my opponents?

Besides, I sorta like you too..... when humans stop being human in the last subtle ways, we're cooked as a race. And you are definitely human, foibles, pride and all.
