This is by-far the best way yet to play Magic the Gathering.. It's not even close...

What really separates it from all the previous forms, is they give you cards for playing, the dailies and weekly rewards add up QUICKLY.. Just getting thru the initial stuff, will land u 15 premade decks, theats like over 1,000 cards. plus ur stacking wildcards. A man with a solid plan can go from the poorhouse to the penthouse pretty fast.

Basically, the original pay-to-win game, has switched up their whole biz model.. Instead of getting you to pay upfront they hook you in for free and suggest buying more, which is far-less predatory, I actually like it.

I refuse to pay for anything in any in-game store, because i'm no fool. I'm Mythic rank (the highest in competitive) and didn't pay a penny, only been playing for like 2months.. The games move faster online too, especially once u get to higher rank. Sometimes turns that would take 5 minutes IRL only take 1 or 2.

It's really fast... The average game only takes a few mins, and i have plenty of suggestions on how to build fast decks built to take advantage of the dailies.

If this **** was around when I was like 12 years old I'd have been one of the top ranked lil ***** on the planet, for sure.

I'm actually a monster in most turn-based games.. Like even ones I dont know... I'm good at figuring games out.. I haven't had a drink since 2017 but I'm like a 'bar-bet-specialist' type of dude.. MTG is probably one of the reasons why LOL...

I was actually a monster at the Star Wars CCG too.. and I was just good at ripping off morons in trades really most of the kids I was beating consistently were from rich families and their parents bought them way more cards than my mom could afford, they all played Rebel so I'd get em to trade their imperial cards away, then I had all the good **** and they couldnt beat me anymore LOL.

I am from a much older era, way before planeswalkers. I learned Magic from older kids in after-school programs and it was always by-far the best activity i did when I was in boy-scouts...

After seeing how things work these days, IMO it's far more balanced than it used to be.

There used to be a PC game called "Magic The Gathering" from 1997.. and it was a masterpiece, all these years I've been waiting for them to update that, and it's finally here...

Honestly tho. Dont buy any cards or packs or anything like that. It will only make you want to buy more.. viscous cycle type of thing..

All it takes is some sticktoitiveness some patience and u wanna be always watching ur opponents and their decks closely, there's lots of ppl trying to do lots of the same **** mostly.

I retired from playing poker almost 10 years ago!!! Dont have the time or will to practice my blackjack.. It's good to be back playing with cards again.

BTW California Split (1974) great movie. 10/10 Elliout Gould slays as usual. Card Shark typa movie!
