What's new

My rant on why the "triple-double mania" of the 2016-2017 season is distasteful.

The triple-double wasn't "a thing" until the days of Magic and Bird.

Oscar Robertson is on record as saying most nights he didn't even realize he had achieved a triple double.

As a NBA League Pass subscriber I've seen Westbrook go for triple doubles on many nights - even at the detriment of his own team.

RB is a great player, perhaps the MVP - but a little perspective is needed when comparing him to Wilt or the Big O.
