Nate is an UFA this season, and is a huge scoring threat off the bench. He brings great energy and seems like the type of backup PG that we would love to have. Do you think we'd go after him?
 
Well, one benefit of havin that pygmy on the team is that Marshmello is terrified of him and sits out all games where Nate plays.

Kinda like Pistol Pete used to do with Sloan, ya know?
 
I think he's in the perfect spot for him right now. He likes to get a little nasty on D and his play feeds off that. They don't necessarily need him so they can just yank him anytime that he gets too out of control. The Knicks would have kept him if he really had any value playing big minutes.

I imagine a team that gives him lengthy minutes would get frustrated after several bad games and attitude mixed in with the good games. I imagine the team benching him for idiotic behavior. I imagine him getting traded for a guy like Eddie House.

Well, he had issues with D'Antoni and got a lot of DNP's - Coaches Decision. I imagine the Celtics vets are keeping him in line. And it doesn't hurt knowing you're playing for a championship and will be a FA.
Nate demands minutes and loves to shoot. No way could he and Sloan (or Deron, for that matter) co-exist. He'd be like Jackson coming in and thinking he was going to take over the team.

I don't think Nate is a starter on a deep playoff team, but as a bench guy, what's not to love about him?

Using the rebuttal that he played for the Knicks is as lame as Lee puts up big numbers cause he there is nobody else.
 
You can have Nate Robinson (without the hops, but with better court-vision) at a fraction of the price if you draft Jerome Randle.
 
Can you really see Nate and Jerry getting along?

Seems like Nate is a one on one player too. He is exciting to watch, and can score in bunches.
I just don't see him running the offense, or fitting in our system.
 
Not a Nate fan. He's essentially a one-dimensional player who can only look to score. He's a defensive liability. He's going to want a longer term contract and his game will completely fall apart the second he loses even a little speed or athleticism.

On the positive side, his middle name is Cornelius. I like that.

....can you really see Nate signing with the Jazz? He's a stone cold "hopper!" The Jazz would have to offer him TWICE as much money as anybody else....and he would still turn it down! He wants the night life, the strip clubs.....and the free-lancing on offense. He's not gonna get ANY of that playing in Utah for the Jazz!
