NBA: Utah Jazz Top 10 plays of 2014-15

Booker's volleyball tap never gets old. Nor does LBJ getting pushed to the floor and Hayward nailing the step-back for the win.

Hayward going at the rim is a thing of beauty. He is deceptively quick and his ball-handling is just tops especially for a player his size. I don't think any guy in the league 6'8" or bigger has a better handle outside of LBJ.

Was Booker's an accident or did he mean to tap the ball up like that? Looked like it bounced off his hands.

Burke had some nice plays. It is too bad that for every step back 3 he nailed he took 8 others that he missed.

Cotton gots hops.

I am glad they got the Gobert salute. Frankly they could have filled this entirely with Gobert highlights. They could probably have filled it with Hayward highlights too.

Man am I excited for this season!!!

Hayward looks so much stronger than he was in 2013. Really impressed by the work he put in last offseason. Hopefully he comes back this year stronger and with an even better handle.

That Booker play definitely deserved number 1.
Play #4 was the next best play.
My favorite play was #5 though. Haywards best dunk

DJJazzyJody found it?

Thanks Jody for introducing us to NBA.com. I've never heard of it before.

Give credit where credit is due.
You know Jody did tweet someone Hacked into the NBA.com and found the video. I just now put the two and two together, that was you huh? I get it, I see how he credited you.

Hey, I might be slow, but I sure am dumb. Good find.

Booker said he's practiced that play before. It was definitely on purpose the way he hit it up in the air. Lucky that it went in, but he set himself up to attempt that tap.

Most memorable plays for me:
1. Booker's volleyball tap
2. Gordon's step-back against Cleveland
3. Burke's game winning 3.
4. Cotton's dunk
5. Rudy's euro step bucket.
6. Rudy blocking the ball on one end and getting the dunk on the other.
7. Gobert's dunk when he took off from just inside the 3PT line.
8. Pick any of Hayward's chase down blocks.
9. Hayward stopping LBJ going to the basket a couple of times late in the 4th quarter of the game in SLC.
10. Exum taking the ball to the basket hard. Oh wait...

Sorry if this is such a rookie question... but aside from Bolerjack and Brownie. Who is providing the play-by-play?

I thought they were stealing the radio broadcast audio... but it doesn't sound like Locke?

I honestly haven't been as excited about a Jazz season as I am about this upcoming one in my entire life (I was too young for the finals years to really care as I do now - in an unhealthy, obsessive way).

That video got me even more jacked up. I'm still bummed about Exum. But drunk on optimism Trey can turn it around this year!!!!! Let's go Trey!!!!

Along these lines the only season I have been this excited for was the start of the 1997-98 season. And then this season, and then probably the 98-99 season when we should have won it all but fell apart at the wrong time. Age catches up with everyone I guess.

Look at the players we have poised to pop this season:

Burke (finding new life hopefully through Exum's injury)
Burks
Hood
Hayward
Gobert

If even 2 of them have significant improvement and the rest just incremental improvement we are solid contenders for a playoff spot. If 3 or 4 of them go off, we could be in the hunt for home court. If all 5 do, we could challenge GS.

The weeks cannot go by fast enough to get to the first games. Let's go JAZZ!!!
