NBA Will Need A New Apparel Deal

Yeah, Adidas performance sports shoes have sucked from everything I've read. It seems like they are making a marketing decision to go more towards the "lifestyle" shoes, like partnering with celebrities such as Kanye.

Also can't help when your flagship athlete (Derrick Rose) is constantly injured and switched out of his signature model once he got injured.

LOL I wasn't aware of that.

....personally, I wouldn't wear ANYTHING associated with the NBA! And if I found anything apparel wise in my house....I'd burn it....then burn the ashes! By the way, anyone out there know what's the most "valuable" NBA basketball card in circulation?

Yeah but would you wear a t-shirt with the image of Tom Metzger on the front? My guess is yes.

nah. their shoes are fine. they are just deciding to focus more on soccer (a much larger market), since the last few big basketball stars they invested in ended up not selling well (rose, dwight,etc.). i actually prefer adidas basketball shoes--but admittedly i'm in the minority who prefers lowcuts while hooping.

there really isnt a HUGE difference in shoes, tbh. Staryburys can be had for like 10 bucks. they wont last as long as nikes or adidas, but theyre just as good as those two while they do last. there have literally been scientific studies done on this. when it comes to adidas/nike/UA and shoes in that price range, the difference is virtually nothin--they're all overpriced tho and ur payin for the brand more than 'performance'
