I think we're gonna look back and appreciate this administration.

My thread title was an attention grabber, but I'd say best president since Eisenhower.

It's gonna take some perspective to appreciate him.

But better relations with Iran and Cuba are good signs.

Let us please understand, relations with those countries WILL NOT improve our lifestyles. It will not make your life better if you live in the United States. But if you're a regular Cuban human or a regular Iranian human, your life will probably get better in a tangible way because the U.S. decided they didn't want to **** you over for the sake of ****ing you over anymore.

In other words...

THANKS OBAMA!

I love Obama. Name me one person who had the leadership struggles he had to deal with and was able to bite his tongue for 8 years and put up with it while sticking to the goal.

Or you can name any woman.

Are you living here in Utah? We are a red state. I Remember countless bitching about Clinton how how awful he was. This was in the mid and late 90s when the economy and everything else was good.

From 2000-08 Utahns couldnt worship the Oval Office enough. Hell, it was unpatriotic to criticize him.

It's all perspective. In a red state they'd find a way to bitch about Obama if he turned water into wine.
 
under obama the middleeast has destabalized more in like foreevr.

with this new iran deal. the destabilization will exponentially increase.
by the time obama is retired we will see these effects. and we will blame the then president.

if this deals goes through u will get another war
saudie arabia and israel vs iran.
that on top of hamas isis and all other **** going on now.



ma thinks the terorist are like that because they have no jobs and no oppurtuinty.
so he thinks by turning iran rich and prosepring ala saudie arabie. problem solved.

but there is a difference.namely there are differnt tribes/kind of muslims.
so if u gave a saudi government 1 billion dollar he buys fancy police cars.
if you give iranian goverment 1 billion dollar they will **** on you. nuclear **** incoming.


i would prefer the us get the **** out of middleeast and not meddle.


all that is going on now was because of meddling of foreign powers(from Great britan to un to united states).

obama and his administration dont know **** about the middleast.

I didn't care for his first term, but I thought he did a decent job in his second. U.S. government is largely broken, however, and it is difficult for any politician to be "great". Limit the number of times senators and congresspeople can run, and things will instantly start improving.

I felt the same way about Clinton. He departed with an approval rating of 68%, the highest in a long time. He had an economical surplus. This all awhile banging mad bitches. He is my role model.
 
It's all about the economy. Clinton happened to be pres during a huge boom = high approval rating. Ignoring the fact that he and Congress set the stage for the collapse 10 years later cuz at the time fat cats! Things collapse when Bush is in office = terrible president. Things start to right themselves while Obama is in office = best president in 100 years. When the reality of it all is the economy mostly did what it did regardless of, and often in spite of, presidential policies at the time. Americans are stupid.

But Obama is doing what I really hoped our president would do following Bush and his war hawk ways. He is building bridges with our former foes and in the process improving the quality of life for millions and millions of people. They may not count as full humans to many of us because they're not 'muricans, but all the same, regular folks doing their best to live their lives will have fewer obstacles and at no cost to us other than to stop harming them to make a point about how we feel about their governments.
 
I hope this whole thread is a parody.. Obama will undoubtedly go down as a top 5 worst ever. Only negated by the fact he shouldn't have ever become anyway..
