Ugh...not sure.

Hate some of Romneys stance on social issues such as gay marriage and abortion. I disagree with far more of Obamas policies though so I will porbably vote Romney (barring something huge happening).

It's the economy, stupid. In my mind (which is feeble, I admit), if we don't clean things up in that respect, we won't have the energy to worry about social issues. Economic stability is closer to the foundational base of Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs pyramid than social issues.

This directed at me?

If so then I agree that the economy is the primary issue. However I do not appear to blinded as you do to all other issues. I make no apologies for that and actually suggest you look deeper at the other issues.

No, sorry - wasn't directed specifically at you. Your post did get me thinking about that, and I posted as an argument to explain my vote. That's all. You are right, the other issues are certainly important.

Romney is a way to pro capitalism for me, we saw where that took us in 2007. I don't like his stance on war and he wants to make our military as "powerful" as possible. I feel like Iran shouldn't have a nuke but going to war and killing thousands of innocent people and our own troops like we did in Iraq and Afghanistan isn't worth it.

It's like basic realism policies in an international system, countries are not stupid enough to use nukes against bigger countries. They just want it as a security medium

I'd generally agree with this but I think there are a few exceptions. I honestly can see Iran filtering a nuke down to a jihad organization for use agaisnt Isreal.

The two choices we have are never enough to adequatly cover all the issues. To many things going on at home and in the world to only be represented by only two views. But this is the system we have and I doubt it will change.

I agree. From what I have heard, the younger generation in Iran hates the current government and how it's dominated in religion. I would say pushing for more liberal groups and shifting away from customary traditions should be top priority. I think the US should push for Israel to give Palestine a better sense of sovereignty so these crazy Muslim radicals don't try to blow up the entire world. I went to Israel a couple years ago and I couldn't tell the difference between half the Jews and half the Muslims. Most of them look exactly the same, it's crazy how religion makes these people go nuts.

So you're voting for Obama.

My vote goes to Obama, and that's the easiest decision I've made since Obama last ran for Presdient of the United States. Reasoning? That's a secret.

I hate our 2 party system.... seems that 9 times out of 10 everyone just votes for the lesser of 2 evils. Or just votes with thier stupid party.

I think there should be like 10 people to pick from for president and that there should be no republican or demacrat party B.S.
