Off-Season Rumblings

DroppingDimes20 was the original I think, but that was deleted if I recall correctly. That 50 then appeared like 4 months later but seemed to be the same guy (fakes appeared in between).

The Bulls replace a relatively expensive player that doesn't play with another relatively expensive player that actually plays and puts up decent stats? I would think the Bulls would have to give up a pick to make something like that happen.
If Lonzo plays at all and he looks good, his Bird Rights are worth plenty (happy as I am to take more). Also, the expiring itself has value if Lonzo doesn’t play/sucks.

Trade idea: John Collins to the Bulls for Lonzo Ball. I don't expect (or want) Ball to actually play for the Jazz, but it gets us off a year of JC and clears the way for Walker and Hendricks to grow.
I suggested something similar when we were discussing Lavine to the Jazz. Bulls pay one additional year of salary, but they get a serviceable big for their troubles and get off of a contract of a player likely not to play. Giddey replaces Ball. Coby White makes Ball seem like baggage. I am not sure the Bulls want to make the playoffs, but Ball does nothing for them.

Kennard had his option declined, but both sides want a return. MEM is really close to the tax, it will tight. I'm assuming they will have to end up trying to dump Ziaire Williams to get everything situated under the tax.
