Kanter returns ...and doing good this preseason

avg.23 minutes 24 / 34 (70%) 2pts. 15 ppg / 9 rpg + 48 / 4 gms

I expect Gobert,Favors *healthy * for this game
OKC has a young 3 guys front court in Adams/Ibaka/Kanter ABLE to share time which for the life of me I couldn't understand why Utah couldn't do the same
Big difference though ,Kanter is free to play the paint (PNR,PNP) and not have to hang out at the 3 pt line as Utah tryed playing him
Big Offense vs Big Defense

Though it's preseason this is inter rival and love him or hate him Kanter being such a gifted offensive 23 year old player that Utah use to have ,these OKC and Utah games should be high spirited games for the players and especially the fanz !!

Thank God Utah didn't. They're far better without Kanter. Why pay the guy $75 million just to make your team worse?
 
OKC and Utah have 4 games this year to show if Kanter makes a team worst or better

On paper OKC has a chance to be really good with Kanter and Utah is hoping to be good.

Tomorrow is a good time for Utah's defense to show up against a top tier(maybe best) offensive team and show they have enough to win against top echelon teams

It doesn't matter if Kanter makes OKC better or worse. He made Utah worse. They already proved that with a 21-10 record to close the season.
 
I just want to see Pleiss stuff Kanter once - just one little tiny silver lining in that catastrophe of a deadline deal last season.
 
well I want to see if Jazz jump out there to a 21 -10 record with Burke and Burks out front on defense in front of Gobert.The Burk(e)(s)finished right there with Kanter at the bottom of the NBA in defensive ratings.Kanter never did get to play with Exum out in front on defense.That makes a big difference than having Trey Burke and Alec Burks defense in front of you.I'm very curious how much Utah's defense slips from the 2nd half defense with Trey Burke and Alec Burks playing in front of Gobert than Exum and Hood .We've seen Burke and Burks defense already ,have they stepped it up ?

Ummm, Kanter was getting 27 mins/per in Utah. He got 32 mins/per after the trade, but remember, OKC had injuries. Jazz were more than willing to give Kanter a TON of playing time. It was Kanter who was unwilling to share and demanded a trade. As for your claim of him hanging out at the 3PT line, that's simply not true. He had less than 1 attempt per game. Yes, QS wanted him to extend his range and be a more complete player. He also demanded Kanter play defense, which Enes simply refused to do. We all thought Richard Jefferson was a jerk or had misquoted Kanter when he said Enes told him defense was unimportant, Well, RJ was right. Kanter is a gifted offensive player, but widely recognized as the worst defender at his position in the league, Jazz are WAY better off without "The Turkish Matador."

Dont put to much stock in preseason games.
 
lol kanter is playing with durant and westbrook. hope he went to portland. we wouldve destroyed him easily

^I've been watching this guy for quite a while and he just keeps hanging there wiggling his eyebrows. I'm no doctor, but I'm getting kinda concerned about his health.
