Can't imagine the Spurs losing 4 straight games.....but it's now certainly a strong possibility. Harden was MVP last night, hands down! If the Thunder win I'll be pulling for them against either one of the East clowns.

Is it wrong of me to not want the Thunder to win the championship because their majority owner is a lying PoS Dbag? I love the Thunder players, but I don't wish any success on Clay Bennett.

The whole makeup of Professional Basketball Club LLC who owns the Thunder is shady business man after shady business man. I think they should have organized as a Mafia instead of a LLC for accuracy sake. I wouldn't blame you if you root against them for ownership reasons. Although I'll be doing so because I can't stand Russel Westbrook, Kendrick Pericks, and James Harden. They all annoy the **** out of me. Even my love for KD can't overcome his teammates.

Well, I'm a crow eater this morning, but I' sure leaning toward this: ''Down the stretch, it seemed like they got every whistle possible and that really changed the tide,'' San Antonio's Tim Duncan said. ''We were playing tough defense and trying to get stops, but the whistle kept blowing and they went to the line.''

Nothing emphasized the importance of superstars in a league that wins championships with superstars than this series. The Spurs have superstars too, they were just outplayed by OKC's. As much as jazzfans like to point out to the failures of the Heat and the successes of the 04 Detroit Pistons, by and large championships are won by bigtime superstars.

We need our Durant.

I don't know much about all of the PBC LLC owners, but here's a link to an article about PBC LLC's Aubrey McClendon: https://www.reuters.com/article/2012/06/07/us-chesapeake-mcclendon-profile-idUSBRE8560IB20120607

And they're all a-holes by association and for knowing there was never any real intent to keep the Thunder in Seattle.

Why is that, though? I think it is because superstars get favorable treatment from the refs. I say fix the problem, bad officiating.

I don't necessarily disagree w/you but we both know that the NBA isn't going to bite the hand that feeds it. Folks pay big money to see superstars play and score big. Officiating isn't going to be changed. Superstars cannot be treated like everyone else. Mostly because, fans don't want to see superstars not scoring big, unable to hack other players, and sitting on the bench in foul trouble.

As Lebron James so cleverly put it after he fouled out in game 4, "Lebron James doesn't foul out."

The games would be more exciting without the star calls, and fan interest would rise.

The losers would be some stars, and some shoe companies, and some big market teams, and maybe some sportswriters, but the NBA as a whole and its fans would be fine, probably better than ever.

Couldn't agree more. The whole "superstar league" concept is a self fulfilling. Stop playing into it and it will go away...and the NBA will be better for it.

Quit blaming the refs. Stars get calls because they are aggressive. Stars win more because they are better. Plain and simple. Immature hacks blame the refs

There is a double standard. I don't blame refs for individual wins and losses, but I do recognize that the games are not called fairly.
