What on earth would we offer the Bulls (or Indiana or whoever) that would entice them to trade us their franchise player?
Yep. I still have quite high expectations for hood. Why don't you want Rodney? His season got derailed by his injury in a similar way Rudy's season last year got derailed? Are we really going to give up on him after one setback and an unhealthy season? Fans are so fickle... more fickle than Rodney's jumpshot one might say.
Ya, kinda how I feel.I don't want Mack and I don't want the Jazz to overpay to keep Hill and Ingles.
I forgot to add no team option on Diaw.

LOL. If I were as inconsistent/fickle of a Jazz fan as Rodney Hood's 3 point shot, that means I'd only cheer on the team twice out of the last 22 games? My fandom is light years more consistent than Hoods jumpshot...not even close.Fans are so fickle... more fickle than Rodney's jumpshot one might say.
Not sure Utah should want to pay his next contract. He should definitely be on the table when considering trades. I wouldn't go so far as to say I don't want him back, but I'd be nervous about having to match a big offer on him after next year.
People who don't want Hill and Ingles back are nuts. We will take a step back losing either one of those guys, let alone both.
I thought Ingles was a lot better tonight. Much closer to his normal self. He made a lot of nice plays out there and played good D. I can roll with Stinky Joe. I worry about relying on Hood too much as a 3rd scorer. He's just so inconsistent. I'm sure he would be a major piece in any off-season trades for significant players. Either Hood or Dante, but Hood has shown more, so probably would be the young player teams would want in a trade.
I never want to see Mack play again. Nothing against him, but it has been so frustrating to watch him soak up as many minutes as he has while playing badly, and getting undeserved accolades from guys like Locke. I've never seen people more willing to explain away such an obvious thing (Exum should have been the backup and developed all year!) by accentuating all of Dante's flaws and ignoring Mack's warts and the context of where they are in their careers. So short-sighted.
Favors also needs to go if there is any question about his long term health. I don't think he's a key piece moving forward either way, but if he can have a healthy half season you could probably get more for him in a trade at the deadline as opposed to where he is now.Who knows, maybe he comes back and makes me eat those words next season. That would be awesome, but I think it is unlikely.
Finally, Alec is almost certainly going to be traded.
Big changes coming this off-season.
