I'm semi optimistic next year will be fun. I'm nervous about what the FO is gonna do.

I don't care if we are good or not next year. Both would be cool. Just as long as we aren't right in the middle again, and they aren't jamming vets down throats again next year.

Depends what you mean by optimistic? I expect to have more fun watching than I have since Big Al got here. I expect us to miss the playoffs. I expect the young guys to show that they are better than a lot of people think they are. But we will not win because I don't expect us to be very deep or have a very good bench.

I am extremely optimistic that this team will get better in the near future and will be back in the hunt in 2-3 years.

So again it depends what you mean by optimistic.

I'm not all that optimistic. I'm worried about how the open roster spots will be filled and what Corbin will do with those placeholders. I will be optimistic if the C4 really see major minutes, just afraid to get my hopes up. If they do, I honestly just want to see what happens, not too concerned about winning this year.

So, why are there two negative answers that say the same basic thing?

I'd vote if there were a good set of options like

Enthusiastic
Optimistic
Guardedly hopeful
Pessimistic
Downright Negative
Becoming a Lakers fan/Heat fan

IF these options were there, it would be Guardedly hopeful. Let's see if everyone was right that the 'core four' were indeed better than alferson and that the Jazz will fill in the roster with solid backups that aren't good enough to get in the way of the four.

Dreams of a "Core 4" will get shattered.
