What's new

Post your CJ highlights here

I just googled "CJ Miles video" and now I have an afternoon meeting with H.R.

:D

I suggest you do NOT mention Mansap.

Reminds me of a time back in the days when porn companies purchased addresses that were very similar to mainstream sites. One day at work, a female colleague wanted to check out baseball scores and asked me if I knew of a good site. I told her to just go to ESPN. Can't remember whether she typed in ESPN.com or ESPN.net, but it was NOT the actual ESPN web address (it's actually ESPN.go.com). Well, what she got was a pop-up banner ad for porn videos. I'm not sure whose faced was redder: hers or mine. She was a good sport about it - as were all the others in my department. But you can believe that story was retold several times around the company over the years.

I hate to be the one to come to the defense of C.J. Miles, but the guy did score 40 points in a game once. He does have talent and could certainly fill up a highlight reel if you were so inclined to make one. But ... it doesn't mean I want him around anymore. Too mentally weak to become a consistent player.

I was at that game. Last one I've been to. That game had the double behind the back pass. Kirilenko to Watson to Price, I think.

Ooh. Found it.

It was all downhill after this game, I think after we won that night we were 27-13.

yes, i remember. my girlfriend at the time had just broken up with me the night before, which means right at the time my love life was in ruin, my team started coming off the rails in the biggest mess of a season in team history.

i think it's safe to say we can blame elizabeth for the jazz's 2011 finish, sloan's resignation, etc.

:D

when i was in college i worked in a phone shop. our company had another department where we frequently had to transfer calls, and its number began with 888. on about my 3rd week on the job, i dial transfered a customer to that department, only i dialed 800 instead of 888, and the recording at THAT number began with a sexy voice saying, "hey lover, are you ready for..." the customer hung up immediately, i hung up right after that, and immediately went to my boss to make sure it was clear that it was a mistake.

Made the same mistake by going to whitehouse.com instead of .gov
