I thought predicting an entire 13 or 12 ( I dunno which is legal next year) was just too much, so let's just focus on the tall guys.
Who are your 5 bigs for opening day? There are a lot of questions regarding this team and its direction, so this should be fun. Does the team keep Evans? Will KOC move one of the starters of last year? Both? How important is it to do something before that first game? What we know for sure is that KOC will not do what we think he will. He's surprised everyone already more than once.
The way I see it there are several ways to approach this:
Stand Pat
Get scrubs and depend upon Favors/Kanter/Sap/Evans
Acquire another journeyman C
Obviously most of these options involve improvements or non - improvements to other areas. Who do you think will be the Jazz 5 bigs dressing for the opener?
I believe it will be:
Millsap
Favors
Kanter
Evans
Mahinmi
IOWs Jefferson gets traded for other assets and we go with a JAG for 4th-5th big. I like Evans and think he is capable of playing PF.
