Can the tail of the note come out just a tiny bit from behind the right side of Burks? Feel like it could/should. Looks great.
Not sure if this is what you are going for, but is the negative space between Burks and the Note suppose to be an "A"? Then Burks' body could represent a "Z". It would be cool if you could put another fade version of Burks for a second "Z". I don't know if that would work visually, but it would be interesting to see if you could pull it off and make it work.

I'd say position the note so that the ball is in front of "We are Utah" and have the "flag" part of the note above the text.
