Need to handle business tonight

When we play the Jazz it doesn't seem to matter what either teams roster looks like. These Pistons v Jazz games have seemed cursed for us for at least the last 20 years.

t’s the Jazz. Not only are they the worst defensive team in the NBA, but there isn’t even a close second worst. Anyone that doesn’t have their best game tonight night is getting some side eye.

I will say that giving up 48 1st quarter points to a 5 and 20 team is insanely bad.

Jazz defense has been much better than our offense early. Yes, the worst defense in the league.

Markie, Kessler, Sexton and Collins... Why are these guys so bad?

Sorta like these Jazz uniforms... Cheerful and clean. That basketball note always looks good.

If they continue to shoot 80% on threes, I don't like our chances

Um ... I was working, but just checked the score and box score. What is this?

On pace to lose by 116 after one quarter.

Our 10-0 run cutting our deficit to, um, 19, was not something I was expecting to type early in the second quarter

Second Half

It feels like we're going to come up just short of a comeback in this one after digging ourselves a massive hole in this one. We're playing with great energy but we've missed a ton of open threes. We've cut it to six a few times here in the 4th but we can't hit threes and they keep draining um. It sucks because we've played hard and we've not made TOs but overall we just flat out missed so many shots compared to their makes.

This game is crazy and mostly awful. It's really nice that we made it a game again but what an awful first quarter.

If I had to guess I would say the Lions are probably sabotaging people's interest on the Pistons. Not only because they are good, but also because Dan Campbell and the culture he has set there is sorta contagious.
