Despite awful records, the race is heating up with ~20 games left...

A young Memphis squad holds the spot right now with a lead of 3 games but plays a brutal schedule to close the season. Think they've already lost the tiebreakers vs the Kings and Pels.

Zion and the Pels only play a handful of good teams the rest of the year.. They are quite entertaining and play a punishing brand of ball. Favors is a good fit!

Fox and the Kings are all of a sudden white hot since the benching of Buddy for Bogdan. 11-5 in their last 16. Bazemore and Alex Len have been really, really good so far for them, Richaun Holmes return will add another boost. Can they break a 13 season playoff drought???

Can the vets of San Antonio or the walking wounded of Portland make a late playoff push??

I'm not gonna include the Suns. Their not mathematically eliminated, only 5.5gb.. Ayton has actually been tearing it up in 2020.. The Oubre injury is their nail in the coffin.. Honestly i don't even think they make a run at it with Oubre.

Wow. Yeah the Pels have the easiest remaining strength of schedule. I really hope they make the playoffs. I can’t remember this intriguing of a team for quite some time. Zion. Ingram’s become a stud. Holiday. If healthy, a knockdown shooter in Redick. A quiet but tough defensive presence in Favors. Melli who’s a big who can hit the 3. Hart. They’re fun as **** to watch.

I hope more than anything that Zion loses 12-25 pounds and works his tail so far as conditioning because if he blows out a knee (which right now I think he will within the next few years) it’ll be such a shame.
