Blacks cannot make whites not racist. That is a fact.
Whites have to show they are no longer racists.
Only a white person can do that

They did not improve.

They brought out a lot of the feelings this country has been hiding, or ignoring for years.

In the long run his presidency will do a lot for black people in America. People on the right freaked out when he won, and it brought out a lot of hatred. Much like my liberal friends are doing now, but for different reasons.
 
You just have us a prime example of how it brought out the hatred, and fears.

Hussein. This started when he was running, and people through that name out there, because one they were scared, and two they wanted to scare others.

Many people felt more safe during his presidency to talk about issues surrounding race, sex and lots of other stuff. This led to backlash from people uncomfortable or hateful towards those groups. Ultimately discussing and trying to improve is good for this country even if there is backlash or denial to it.
