@IAmAUtahJazzFan Just sat next to Johnnie Bryant and Raul Neto in SLC restaurant.Could Neto be coming over this year?Hope so!

So clearly Trey is going to be traded.

That last line was sarcasm.

Are you sure?
He should be at World Cup.

Perhaps he's opposed to the way FIFA is raping his country financially. and how mellow stole what Tony was about to make a thread about.

Randy Rigby on 1280 just confirmed that Raul Neto has been in town working out and looking good. Rigby said the female fans are going to like watching him.

Not sure if he was suggesting they will like him next season.

Jazz draft Exum, trade Burke, Sign Neto.

Damn, I would actually be surprised if Neto comes over. The fact that he is over here working out means something though.

I'd be shocked if the Jazz don't bring him over this year. He took one for the team and stayed in Europe when he wanted to be here last year. He finished out his contract and now he doesn't even have a buyout. . .

. . . he WANTS to be in Utah and the Jazz depth chart as of right now is still Burke, Lucas the 3rd and Garrett. He plays at a faster pace and does well in the P&R. He has a legitimate chance to be good, but needs to work with NBA coaches. Whether that's Snyder, Jones, Jensen (and hopefully Engelland) or whoever they hire to coach the Stampede, it's the right move.

I'm glad he's here in Utah. Working for the guys calling the shots trying to prove his case. I think that he'll get the job done.

I could see where they might not sign him until after the draft, in case they have to smokescreen something or trade his rights. . . but if they want him, they should just bring him over now.

Pretty sure I remember him saying he wanted to stay overseas to work on his game because there wouldn't be enough playing time in Utah.

Btw when that Rigby interview gets posted in the jazz news feed you better listen, He dropped all kinds of little goodies in there today.

I'm so excited I'm going to pee my pants.

Austin Horton @austinhorton
Raul Neto has been in town recently, working out with the Jazz, says Rigby...who added "For our female fans, he is REALLY REALLY handsome."

Damn not too shabby, but Gordon isn't getting past Boston.
The only way I really see the Jazz getting more than one of the top 8 picks is if they sit tight at 5 and then work out a sign and trade with Boston for Gordon Hayward after free agency begins. They have to be serious about matching the contract otherwise. Regardless of who the Jazz take at #5, whoever Boston takes at #6 has to be a part of any sign and trade deal. There can be other pieces included - a future draft pick or freeing up some cap space by taking on a bad contract. . . but they have to get that lottery pick out of it or match the contract.

Assuming that it goes - Embiid, Wiggins, Parker and Smart/Exum - Jazz can take either Exum, Gordon or Vonleh at 5. Boston will then either take Exum, Gordon, Vonleh or Smart. After free agency begins, IF Hayward wants to go to Boston, it's going to cost them Exum, Gordon, Vonleh or Smart. I don't care which. But that's the price to pay. Give me Gordon and Exum (who I think are the two most likely to go 5&6), and I'd be pretty happy with how things turned out (even though I'm not an Exum fan).

Cant wait to see neto throwing lobs to gordon in the vegas summer league

You're making me cry tears of joy.

I've had like five dreams of us getting A. Gordon and Lavine.

Not happening. But it would be beautiful.
Core5 + Rudy Gobert + Neto & Tomic + Air-Gordon and LaVine = fun basketball.

I don't know how long it would take them to win, but it would be a fun team to watch. At least for me it would be fun.
