Ricky Rubio has communicated Barcelona his intention of leaving the team when the season ends. But he doesn't want to commit the same mistake that he made in Badalona so he'll postpone the official announcement until the ACB League finishes.

David Kahn, Minnesota Timberwolves's GM, finally got his own way and the PG will make the jump to the NBA this summer.

The factors that made him decide are the followings:

-The insistence and interest showed all the time by the franchise.
-The expiration of the rookie salary scale
-His lack of development in Europe and the fact that he is being fiercely criticized.

The factors that made him doubt:

-The lockout and the fact that he could be some months without playing

BUT the player's environment and Kahn himself made him see that this could turn out to be a good thing after all this years of competition (he hasn't stopped a single summer since he was 13). This "stop" could be useful to recover himself, adapting to the style of life in the USA and training on an individual level on all the things he needs to work on (especially shooting, of course).

Well thats great new! Maybe Utah can trade Bell or Evans for Flynn? And it makes the draft taht much mroe exciting....Will they take DWill(the 2nd) or trade there pick for a vet?

They definitely could be more open to trading the #1 pick now if they get it, or open to trading Rubio.

Rubio doesn't impress me a bit. His numbers this year were atrocious. If I were the Wolves and I won the first pick, I would draft Irving and trade Rubio's rights.

If Cleveland picks Williams, Minny probably will not pick Irving.... that means he could drop to 3.
If Cleveland picks Irving, Minny probably will take Kanter, and that would leave Williams for Utah.
If Cleveland picks Kanter for some reason, who the heck will Minny pick?? and who will be left for Utah?

Crazy.
