Rudy Gay to the Kings......

They really should have moved if for no other reason than to just completely clean house. Completely. Nothing left, I know they scooped new owners up and everything....but still...the taint lingers.

I'm surprised Jimmer wasn't a part of that trade and Vasquez was. Vasquez is a solid big PG. I could see why Toronto would want him over Jimmer, but not why Sac town would want to get rid of Grievis over Jimmer.

Yeah, the franchise can't seem to do right. I will say one thing, this pretty much guarantees losses for us against Sacramento for the rest of the season. Maybe I am wrong, but Gay seems to always have his way with us(no pun intended).

Maybe he'll get some PT actually now, put up some #'s and they can move him for an asset. Because obviously they aren't getting any decent offers or he'd be gone. It is funny that they would trade the one guy that can actually pass, and then a bunch of scrappy players on top of that. To me, the Kings need more of those types, not less. But I guess all those guys pretty much don't have any use anymore anyway outside of Vasquez. They are all over paid for what they (don't) provide.
 
I think Kings are looking to keep Cousins, McLemore, Isaiah Thomas and now Derrick Williams. Everyone else is probably expendable, which isn't a bad thing.

Actually sounds like what takes place with 90 percent of todays NBA players, not just Rudy Gay!

Rudy Gay will make the Kings better than what they are now. They steamrolled over Dallas tonight and Derrick Williams had a career night too, I think the kings have a system complimentary to the team they are building and they will make a splash THIS year with the additions of Gay and Williams, just due to the athletic dynamic. and I expect the kings to get it together with Rudy joining them.

PS I watched the 4th quarter of that game, Sacramento looks like a very exciting team.
