To put some clarification on why I think this is related:

I've gotten the security error before too, and I would get an error about someone's box being full. I'm just cautious enough to watch how many posts are made, so I haven't complained.

Same thing just happened to me, also responding to a post by Joe B.

Jason--I suspect this is what happens when a user has requested PM notifications of when people respond to his posts, yet has no PM space available. Is there any fix?

Get rid of quote notifications unless you're premium? Still looking into it.
