Sexton a Few Made Shots from 50/40/90 Slash Line

I was thinking during the game yesterday that I would love to see Sexton play for a team that is trying to win something. He is such a competitor, I think it would bring out the best in him. I would love to keep watching Sexton and he I think he is a good role model with his work ethic for the young guys, but we seem so far away from being good, I would also like for him to get to play for a good team.

Without Sexton, Markkanen and Kessler, we’re so far from being remotely competitive. I actually feel the same way about Eubanks to a large extent as a viable backup 5.. We need to get a 26 First out of Clarkson or Collins or both and accelerate this process to flipped on instead of off before it’s too dam late and it’s a neverending turnstile.

I think it would take a first to get him, I don't think a first will be available. I do think he is underrated, but fair or not his reputation is what it is. Hope I'm wrong.

I have not been in the Sexton camp but he has been great this year. The way he is playing he could be a keeper but he certainly is worthy of a first round pick. I am surprised Fish On is not all over this post. My biggest questions is whether I think he is playing that well or is it just because I much prefer him on the floor to Keyonte and Collier

John Collins and sexton are the only 2 players close to a 50/40/90 in the league. John Collins was the only player for a while until he missed some freethrows

He has value beyond his on-court production and having both is invaluable for a team in the depths of darkness and trying to build its way out. He’s also the best version of the seemingly most abundant player type in the league. So unless we get an obviously better version of that player type, I’m not trading him unless something of real value comes back.

I dont really think it's a question anymore, he has first round pick value in a trade, and not a dumpster 1st either.

That's for the market to decide and the market doesn't seem to agree with you.

For every two points Sexton brings to the table on offense, he takes three points OFF the table on the other side of the ball. He's an awful defender, constantly ball-watching, falling asleep and getting burned on backdoor cuts. Not to mention that everybody just shoots over him because he's tiny.

The league knows all this but Sexton fans are blind. Collin is not a starter in the NBA and a 1st for him is pure fantasy.
