I am from Salt Lake but I live in Houston. Work brought me down here. I've lived in Texas almost 6 years now. Overall it's actually been a pretty great place. Houston has so much to do and Austin is just a hop a skip and a jump away. Winters aren't too terribly bad although, to my surprise, it does get cold here. Today was the most beautiful day of the year though. I had brunch with my girlfriend and some friends at a nice little ice house this morning and had a wonderful bike ride in the evening. It's the little things in the south that I like. People are generally nice here.

I'm from Salt Lake and live in Austin now. I thought everyone hated Houston, but my friend lived there for 4 years and said he loved it.

Also, do people in Utah know what an ice house is?
