Enough about politics - here's the important debate of the day.

The shower vs. bath debate is a feisty one.

Some people are die hard daily bathers, while others actually think “baths are for gross people.” Some people with several roommates couldn’t fathom taking a bath in good conscience, while for others nothing beats submerging oneself in a tub of water.

I'm going to guess that north of 90% of people take showers all but maybe a couple times a year if that.

I would prefer baths but they take too long and waste too much water. I really like baths (love to read in the bath) but only take a bath about once every couple of months. Actually took one with my 5 month old just 2 days ago. She fell asleep on my chest and then i fell asleep too. I loved it!

Also, I need a deeper bath. Im way too big for mine.

sounds a little dangerous, tbh.

I think my last bath was about 3 or 4 years ago. Reason: most of the bathtubs in middle-class rental units in LA are pretty uninspiring.

I bath a couple times a month. Nothing better than coffee or a cold beer while reading or watching something in a bath. Although a shower beer is very nice as well. I used to have a big screen hooked up on a long extension I could pivot from the master bedroom into the bathroom to watch while bathing or showing but the wife nixed that at my new place. I never got the candle thing in the bath though. Although I hate candles on general. I had a jet tub but those are hard to clean and I didn't really like the jets that much. I think when I put in a bigger master bathroom at my house this next year I'll put in a large two person tub with no jets.

I can see how it would seem so. But again, im way too big for my bath anyway so she is nowhere near the water being on my chest and both of my arms were around her. You will just have to take my word for it that there was nothing to worry about.

I agree about the shower beer.

I haven't taken a bath for years. It doesn't appeal to me unless I have a deep tub that I can sink my entire body into up to my chin - and I don't currently have one. :(

I shower once a month whether I need it or not.

I like baths a lot but my biggest issue with them is that the water turns too cool too quickly. Need a heated tub or something to keep the water warm.

Get a tankless water heater. No limit to how much hot water you can have.

I'm really surprised how many people take baths. I've taken like three baths in the last 10 years.

Bath if I have time. Love baths after skiing, biking, moto if I'm worked. My kids and wife love baths too.

I bathed all the time in our last house. It had a jetted tub big enough for 3 people and a recirculating water heater. It was enough to maintain the temp of the water but not really heat up the water anymore. Loved it.
