What's new

Sloan has been mentioned

Sloan is probably on the list of every single team in the league looking for a coach. I don't think he's coming back, but I could see somebody like Cuban offering him a buttload of money and coaxing him out of retirement. Maybe.

God I hope he signs there. But they'll get JVG, will be the #8 seed next year, thus giving us a ******** pick, and we'll have missed out on a solid head coach to let Corbin continue to run this team into the ground because, ya know, he's a former player and we have to be loyal to the man.

....NOBODY is hiring Sloan to coach there team! They all realize that Sloan is set in his ways, out of touch with the modern day NBA hip-hopper and through fooling with the uncoachable!

I don't recall any Sloan fits where he ran down the higher management and complained about the hand that was picked for him. Did I miss some of those? If not, he's in a strong bargaining position and might be given more lattitude in a new deal by "better management". Not saying that will happen, just that nobody knows that side of it 'cept Sloan.

I'd like to see it happen. . . .well, if we get somebody who can do better. . . . Let's just see if anybody good will take a cut in pay to coach the Jazz.

If we get a couple of good 3 point shooters in the draft, I would love to have Sloan coach Golden State. We lost to many inferior teams due to doubling down on bigs that were not that good and leaving 3 point shooters open, that is why the Spurs owned us so bad.

So, despite the Jazz having an average defense against three-pointers, they were being left wide open? That makes it sound like three-point defense is irrelevant, and I'm sure you don't think that.
