This storm (2-21-23) was one for the books.

I hope our snowpack doesn't melt too fast.

From what I have been reading it ain't over yet. We have been getting winter storm warnings for the LA area, supposed to be a significant drop in temp and heavy rain showers and snow flurries all the way into the inland empire possible over the next 3-5 days. Likely lots of this heads your way as well. Love that lake effect! At least it is at a low point so it might not tack on too much.

And this is all the cherry on top of an above average winter as far as snowpack is concerned. We need it! Like fish said, we need more over the next several seasons. This one bigger than average winter isn't going to fix the drought we're in right now.

Agreed. The more the merrier right now. Several California reservoirs are approaching 80%+ full where last summer they were under 40%. But we need to top them all off, AND generate significant snowpack for the summer. I am all for it.
