I’ll admit I’m not liking Ingles coming off the bench. I know the argument is that Donovan, Mike, and Bojan are all higher usage guys, but he hasn’t gotten into any rhythm off the bench. I’d still like to see our offense function in the hypothetical way we’ve been talking about — with Joe and Bojan in the Corners and different pick and roll options with the other three. Or at least that ball flying around the floor to the open guy. We close with this lineup but it seems like that’s it. We should start with it. Sub Ingles early, if necessary, and he can still return when one of Conley or Mitchell go out.

The rebounding is also terrible.

It feels to me that Joe has been hesitant to shoot this year, similar to how he was the first few years of his career. Once GH left, Joe looked to score more, but now that there are other options it seems like he is being hesitant to create for himself. He needs to be more like Klay and just let the ball fly. It will help the offense if teams know he is looking for his shot, and not just willing to shoot if left open.

JO and BO must must must step up their rebounding.

CODOBOJOGO is a solid lineup. They need to start and finish all games. The benchJO experiment should end.

I have no expectation of it. I view rebounding as something more static like height. Sure, a couple guys come into the league and grow an inch or two, but it more or less is what it is.

That said, both Joe and Bojan are averaging career highs for TRB%. Not sure it's realistic to expect more.

Here are the total rebounding percentage leaders for our team. I've removed garbage time guys:

1. Davis 24.6
2. Rudy 20.7
3. Ingles 8.4
4. Mitchell 8.1
5. Royce 8.1
6. Bojan 7.8

Yeah you're probably right, but I sure hope that they ran drills until they all collapsed to drive it into their brains to go get the ****ing ball. In high school we ran drills and did rebounding competitions in practice where the coach would take a bad shot and we'd all be in a group under the basket to see if we could get the rebound. Kept score by how many you could get in the time we did the drill. It got pretty competitive and made us a better rebounding team imo. I hope they did something to drive this point home. They all need to step it up on the boards.

Really Jeff Green needs to get his rebounding act together. He seems a little lazy
His career high in rebounds per 36 was his second year at 6.5. His career average per 36 is 5.4. He’s only averaged double-digit TRB% the once. How would you define “getting it together”?

Realising that’s what is needed from him in this situation and focusing on it a bit more. Application

Hmm, I don't think this should really be a surprise. Joe is a stronger player than Royce generally speaking. You'd have to look at how each did with the bench lineups as well (where I expect Joe looks better as well due to having more offensive chops). Overall I'd bet it balances out pretty well.

A couple times I've seen Bojan get rebounds that Gobert would have gotten and I like that he's been aggressive but I also hope Gobert is fine with it. I mean it's not like he's Russell Westbrook stealing everyone's rebounds so I'm sure it's fine.
