So guys, Iam back again. I think that the last few games have strongly shown that Kanter is coming slowly at his standard phisical power. His motor is back, he is pounding his opponents inside and he is also defending stronger than before. Kanter with beeing totally out of shape physically averaged 15/8 as a starting five player and second/Third option, defense and rebounding was not near that level we has known from Kanter, so he looked not that solid. But he was pretty consistens with scoring, I think the most consistent player.
Right now we see that stud on the court we saw before, Cavs almost tried to defend him with 3 players last game.

1. Do you think that Kanter in shape would have looked much better in the starting 5 than he did at the start of the season ?

2. What do you think would he average the next 46 games, when Corbin would start him at this point ? (That idiot won´t thats another story)

I think that at the start of the Season we saw Kanter without his elite strenght and high motor, right now it has changed. What about you ?

Kanter is neglected in this team! For that I blame the coach.
But he started the season badly, for that I blame EK, and there is noone else to blame.

so with the Jazz or not, Kanter will be a great NBA player with a few All Star appearences probable!
and for that, he has to figure out some aspects of the game!

Kanter has had his ups and downs as most young players do and he has experienced variability in playing time as most young players do. Difficult to tell who the real Enes is but at times he shows glimpses of being a very good player in this league. It is clear that he has had times where he played poorly and it is clear that he and Derrick have not play well together at times. That being said, I candidly don't get all of the rah rah on this board about him being neglected or not getting a chance or somehow being punished. He is averaging over 25 minutes a game. That is plenty of court time to develop and proves oneself.

The rah-rah is that we have two players, Jefferson (primarily) and Marvin (most likely) who have no future in Utah and are taking valuable minutes away from the development of our young players!

Also he was a number three pick that didnt get to play college ball and then had very limited minutes (especially against other nba starters) in his first couple of years.

I guess alot of us would just like to find out exactly how good kanter is.... especially during the perfect season to play him big minutes with very little consequence if he sucks. (And if he sucks it could actually be a benefit)

Heading into the season there seemed to be a clear commitment to the tank and development strategy, but Corbin is obviously on a different page. So frustrating. I believe the problem is that Dennis decided he was getting rid of Corbin before the season started, but he and the Miller's decided that it was preferable to let his contract run out rather than fire him, so now we've got a situation where the head coach is pursuing goals that are not in alignment with the team. I still believe the Jazz should fire Corbin ASAP and replacing him with an interim coach who is committed to the develop and tank strategy.

It would need to be an interim coach who is already on staff. I'd give that honor to Brad Jones. If Lowe and Sanders quit as a result, who cares?

Then next season you bring in a new guy with the understanding he can hire his own staff, except for Jones...he has to retain Brad as the #3 assistant.

I've been waiting all year for him to play like he's been playing. Even when he was producing out-of-the-gate, he didn't look quite right. He's quicker to the ball, with the ball, and in his mind than he has been all year.

So, Marvin is questionable for tonight. Now let's see if Enes is ready to play in the S5 for 30+ minutes against other starters. I sure hope so!

If Marvin and Hayward are out, Enes has a huge chance to hush up Corbin and the haters.

This is a type of game that he has not to fail.
