The Team with the Best Commentary in the League

Which one is it for you guys?

I am not fond of obvious homer commentary that ruins the excitement of the game for the viewers, so I think the Rockets crew including Drexler is the best since they usually make fun of their own players' failures/stupid mistakes in the game. They have their fun, so can the fans.

I loved the Mike Breen, Mark Jackson and JVG trio calling the game together. The chemistry between those trio was making the game more watchable and fun. The brawling between JVG and Mark Jackson maybe on every subject was making it even better.

Some of my favorites are Steve Kerr, Mike Breen, JVG, and Kevin Harlan.

My least favorite: Sacramento's crew.

Also, my favorite international guy is Liam Canny.

When someone makes a perfect shot, he says exuberantly, "oh, it's velvet." He's also the guy that said CyTorbin's sig.

Very nice information, thank you. I loved that quote.

just curious 'cause i don't pay enough attention - are Kerr, Jackson, JVG etc associated with broadcasts of a particular team or are they more ESPN/TNT/NBA broadcast based?

from what i've seen, I like Houston's and Indiana's announcers. I enjoy the Bulls as well, but Stacey King might be a bit too homerish for some. He's can be pretty funny though, and entertaining.

Harpring and Boler are pretty amusing as well.

I don't know about everybody, but Mike Breen calls Knicks games when he's not doing ESPN games.
